Abigale Miller bio

Abigale Lee Miller(born on 21st September, 1965) is an American choreographer, dance instructor and a reality television star. Abby Lee Dance Company was founded by her. It aired on eight seasons of the show Dance Moms. Miller admitted guilt on June 27, 2016 , to the charge of felony bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced to one and two-and-a-half years in federal prison. She was released on March 27, 2018. In April 2018, she developed lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer that caused her to be unable to walk. She now uses a wheelchair to move around. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Her mother taught her to dance at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. At the age of 14, Miller was given the task of in choreographing and coaching one of her mother's dance competition teams. Miller took control of the studio , and it was renamed Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America and was admitted as a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986 however, her membership was ended in February 2012, with DMA saying that Miller's reality-TV program Dance Moms was "a total false representation of our dance teachers as well as their students. It is detrimental to the dance profession."
